Occupational Health and Safety Policy
The Occupational Health and Safety Policy, which we have adopted as COIZ, has been shaped with the understanding of “The Greatest Value is Human”. Our most important goal in this area is to protect all our employees and the environment we live in against possible risks that may occur at the place we work.
For this purpose, we have adopted these principles in terms of OHS practices;
In order to ensure the health and safety of our employees and contractors in our Regional Directorate and in the areas we are responsible for, to take the necessary measures in accordance with the current Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation and other requirements, to keep equipment and personal protective equipment and make them to be used.
To train our employees in terms of occupational health and safety, to ensure that they have access to OHS awareness and to create an attitude, to carry out training and information activities at every stage starting from the recruitment process in order to increase this awareness,
To detect and eliminate unsafe situations and movements that may cause occupational accidents and occupational diseases and possible accident risks in the workplace,
To take the necessary measures with the goal of “Zero Work Accident”,
To ensure that contractors serving our Regional Directorate also comply with the occupational health and safety rules,
To ensure that necessary measures are taken and implemented in possible emergencies,
To be an exemplary institution
